The fruit for DeVine was sourced from two non- estate vineyards, and combined with Cabernet Sauvignon farmed at Mustang Springs Ranch. After fermenting in both tanks and bins, the resulting wines were gently pressed and aged separately in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels. After 12 months the components of this wine were blended and allowed to meld for an additional 6 months prior to bottling.
